Effective asset recovery begins before demolition starts. NADC evaluates the facility, identifies recovery opportunities and develops a removal strategy that works with the overall demolition and decommissioning sequence.
Asset Identification & Evaluation
NADC reviews equipment, materials and facility components to identify items with potential reuse, resale or recycling value. Early evaluation helps determine what should be preserved and separated before demolition progresses.
Recovery Planning
Once recoverable assets are identified, NADC develops a plan for dismantling, handling and removal. Access, lifting requirements, equipment condition, project sequencing and site logistics are considered before work begins.
Controlled Removal
Equipment and materials designated for recovery are carefully dismantled and removed using methods appropriate for their size, condition and intended disposition. Work is coordinated with surrounding demolition activities to protect recoverable assets.
Material Segregation
Recoverable materials are separated from the general demolition stream whenever practical. Structural steel, nonferrous metals, equipment and other materials can be sorted and managed according to the project’s recovery objectives.
Disposition & Project Integration
Recovered assets and recyclable materials are prepared for their intended disposition while demolition continues. Integrating recovery activities into the larger project sequence helps maintain productivity while supporting the owner’s overall project goals.
