What Is Asset & Investment Recovery?

Asset and investment recovery focuses on identifying, separating and recovering value from equipment, materials and other assets before and during demolition or decommissioning. Rather than treating everything as demolition debris, NADC evaluates opportunities to reuse, resell, recycle or otherwise recover materials that may still have value.

NADC works with owners and project teams to incorporate asset recovery into the overall demolition plan. Depending on the facility and project goals, this may include process equipment, machinery, structural steel, nonferrous metals and other reusable or recyclable materials. Recovery activities are coordinated with demolition sequencing so materials can be removed safely and efficiently without disrupting the overall project schedule.
