What Is Selective Demolition?

Selective demolition is the controlled removal of specific structures, building components, equipment or materials while preserving the portions of a facility that will remain. NADC plans each project around the existing structure, surrounding operations, access requirements and the construction or renovation work that will follow.

NADC performs selective demolition for industrial facilities, manufacturing plants, commercial buildings and institutional properties. Work may include interior strip-outs, equipment and process-system removal, concrete and slab removal, structural openings, partial building removal and phased demolition completed within or adjacent to active facilities.

Debris and recoverable materials are removed, remaining areas are prepared and the space is turned over for renovation, construction or continued use.
